depArture Arts Centre at Limehouse

This is a very good place to hang out if you are in Limehouse/Stepney/Wapping area. Run by London City Mission but a very different place from all their others. It is an attempt at a genuine half-way house between the various sub-cultures in the area.

Although it is called an Arts Centre it is also features crafts like machine sewing, pottery etc.. It has a good cafe space and second hand bookstall.
